Would you like it to be more of a "free for all, pick your favorite" or "x vs x, fight to the death" tournament?

Well, maybe I'm overthinking it, but due to the plethora of non-violent great characters, I had two different scenarios in mind. One where I would pick Daenarys over someone like Janos Slynt because I love her, and one where I rationally know Janos would make quick work of her 1 on 1.

Just decide on 64 and let the chips fall or?

cutuphalfdead wrote:I know I'm not the first to say this and I've never really given it much consideration, but I'm thinking about it now because I've been reading the dunk and egg tales and now I'm perusing the World of Ice and Fire chapters from that same time period, but does anyone think Aegon is a Blackfyre?

I mean he has the Golden Company at his back now which is a hint towards that, but I've never really bought into it despite that.

They talk a bit in WOIAF about many people looking across the narrow sea to the Blackfyres during Aerys I's reign with the drought and the aftermath of the Spring Sickness and distrust of Bloodraven, et al. And that has me thinking of people looking across the sea now for Dany's return. So if the dragon has three heads could it be Dany/(F)Aegon/Jon?

If R+L=J they're all blood of the dragon, and a joining of Targ/Blackfyr could parallel a joining of Stark/Snow if Jon's parentage is confirmed and he's legitimized.

Sorry this is such a stream of conscious type post.
yes, he's very likely a fake dragon according to prophecies/premonitions dany has had

Here's the list I've come up with. Any suggestions, opinions, comments, or modifications then please speak up.

"Warriors"

Jaime Lannister
Bronn of Blackwater
Jon Snow
Victarion Greyjoy
Gregor Clegane
Sandor Clegane
Brienne of Tarth
Eddard Stark
Robb Stark
Loras Tyrell
Daario Naharis
Khal Drogo
Strong Belwas
Barristan Selmy
Grey Worm
Jorah Mormont
Qhorin Halfhand
Mance Rayder
Yoren
Syrio Forel
Areo Hotah
Oberyn Martell
Robert Baratheon
Ramsay Bolton
Greatjon Umber
Asha Greyjoy
Beric Dondarrion
Duncan the Tall
Coldhands
Stannis Baratheon
Brynden Tully
Jaqen H'gar

"Players" (?)

Tyrion Lannister
Arya Stark
Sansa Stark
Littlefinger
Varys
Cersei Lannister
Margery Tyrell
Olenna Tyrell
Lady Stoneheart
Melisandre
Roose Bolton
Theon Greyjoy
Bran Stark
Wyman Manderly
Daenarys Targaryen
Euron Greyjoy
Davos Seaworth
Tywin Lannister
Doran Martell
Arienne Martell
Jon Connington
Illyrio Mopatis
Samwell Tarly
Maester Aemon
High Sparrow
Tom o' Sevens
Aeron Greyjoy
Hizdahr zo Loraq
Old Nan
Hodor
Bloodraven
Walder Frey

I tried to stick with characters we have had good interaction or first hand knowledge of, rather than hearsay of greatness through another character or legend(Arthur Dayne, Garlan Tyrell, Brandon Stark, Howland Reed)

I would like to keep the total number at 64, so if you suggest anyone to add, go ahead and pick one to drop.

I'd put Euron and Jon Con in the warrior part even though they're more or less politically motivated

The back end of the players gets a little sketchy. It may need to be cut to 16.

So if Brienne is an offshoot of Ser Duncan the Tall, will she slay (F)Aegon?

Yeah I know. But who knows where everyone is going to stand come ADOS.

I'm excited for her storyline regarding Renly though, because I can see her getting north to take care of Stannis by heading that way with Stoneheart and the BWOB which would be fucking badass.
