I like stip's and Varis' ideas. Take a poll.

Can we just limit this year to studio albums? I don't have some stuff like the holiday releases.

Dear Pearl Jam,

Please release good music so those of us on an unauthorized, secondary message board loosely dedicated to your band may hold a tournament where the new music will inevitably not beat one of 4 of your "classics".

Thanks,

E.H. Ruddock.
We could always do a PRAMG tournament just to confirm that Parachutes is in fact quite brilliant. Varis would love it.

I love how well S/T did last tournament when it was against the last 2 albums.

two or three years ago we did a post 2000 and pre 2000 bracket (post backspacer pre L-bolt I believe). It was interesting, and then the 2000 winners (top 8 or 16 from each) got destroyed by the 90s songs.

We could do a Pearl Jam vs. The National tourney.

I'd also support 3 (or more) songs in each matchup. So you could have Black v The Fixer v Alone. Top song advances. That would help speed things along.

No. It is shit. I wish that parachute never opened and the song went screaming downwards at ever-increasing velocity to its ultimate death.

Fuck you Parachutes.

I'll need to see if the bracket site can support this. Not a bad idea for the first round
