Unemployable Pistoia '06 is terrific. I would also nominate that (but haven't listened to SF yet).

Wait, I think I'm supposed to be in a different thread.

I think this album is aging tremendously well. I always loved 5 of the first 6 songs, but as I've listened now and then through the years and heard it live I come to appreciate more and more of the other songs. Some of this stuff is top-notch Pearl Jam.

I think you could argue that the first 7 tracks could've very well be the best 7 track run on any PJ album

You could but you'd look kind of nuts.

ST is top notch........IMO and I am one of those fans where I believe their first 3 albums were monstrous and their best.

I find I listen to this album more than any other studio album. The first 8 tracks are really good. Sure there are bumps but this is aging well. Can't wait for that remix/reissue in 2019.

That's probably my least favourite part of the record.

Comatose is a pretty good tune. Would have rather liked to hear 1996 Ed sing this though.

I really like Life Wasted (I know it's kinda hated here), but I do not like WWS at all. Something about that song just grates my nerves. I'm indifferent on Comatose, I guess it's pretty good (I'd give it 3 stars).

I like Severed Hand and Marker In the Sand quite a bit though, as well as Parachutes. That run of 3 songs to me is much better than the opening 3 songs.

So you're like stip, with some slight variations. Most of the S/T detractors think their best work is albums 3-6.

which makes sense, stylistically.

Vitalogy gets off so easy around here. Probably because it's so great.

I love "Life Wasted" through, and including, "Parachutes." Album goes downhill fast from there, but I still ranked it as a 4 because I like Army Reserve and the music of Inside Job, not the lyrics.
