Mance Rayder

Mance was once a man of the Night's Watch before breaking his vows and abandoning his post. He has since become extremely influential among the free folk, and is called the "King-Beyond-the-Wall".
"Free folk don't follow names, or little cloth animals sewn on a tunic. They won't dance for coins, they don't care how you style yourself or what that chain of office means or who your grandsire was. They follow strength. They follow the man."

VS
King Robert I Baratheon

Lord of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros after winning the rebellion named after him and taking the Iron Throne. Robert was once a renowned warrior with a good battlefield voice. In his youth he was described as very tall (Ned Stark estimates his height at six feet and six inches, with his brothers slightly shorter), broad shouldered and muscled like a maiden's fantasy.
"They said Robert Baratheon was strong as a bull and fearless in battle, a man who loved nothing better than war."

If it was Robert from the time of the rebellion he'd win. But assuming it's Robert as we knew him during the first book I have to go with Mance Rayder.

I'm assuming people are in their prime. Otherwise at this point half the people we're voting on are corpses.

Robert at least had a reputation for being one of the best warriors of his age. Mance was trained, but was he ever noteworthy for his martial prowess?
I do think Rayder is more likely to effectuate a successful boar hunt.

Mance was known for his one-on-one fighting ability; its pretty much how he gained the respect of all of the wildling tribesstip wrote:Robert at least had a reputation for being one of the best warriors of his age. Mance was trained, but was he ever noteworthy for his martial prowess?
