I saw the Revenant, Martian, and Spotlight this week. I think the Revenant is as good as they're saying. If you're into hypothermia then it's highly recommended! And I'm not just saying that because I'm Canadian :). I hope DiCaprio is recognized for this one because it's fuckin powerful. Hardy or whatever is name is, was also great.

The Martian was a lot of fun in the way that it was kept lighthearted. Damon was perfect for the role.

Unfortunately we left Spotlight for the last of this list because it felt so incredibly dull and lifeless. Maybe we should have watched it first. I understand it's difficult subject matter but there was something about the pacing that just left me completely un-empathetic. I could individual awards for Ruffalo or possibly Keaton but this ain't no Best Picture.

I normally watch stuff on my laptop. This tv is almost too big for the room it's in but it's great for films like akira/Star Wars etc

Is Bridge of Spies worth a look? I have that, Spotlight and The Big Short on my USB ready to go but can't decide which one to watch.

Guys I took a huge hit for the team.

Don't watch Sisters. It's awful on just about every level.
Two laughs. That's all. Embarrassingly bad.

I know I know. I just forgot his first name.... I wanted to call him Ed Hardy for some reason, but isn't that a clothing company?
