As a lifelong MN sports fan, it wasn't that bad. It sucked, yeah, but in the pantheon of MN sports failures, it barely registers. It was a wildcard game against a two-time Super Bowl team. AP fumbled. He's like a fucking Geico commercial. If you're Adrian Peterson, you fumble the football in critical games. It's what you do. Our shitty rotation and catchers will report in 2 months and the Wild will lose to the Blackhawks a couple months after that. At least it's only -8 outside right now.

lol. Dude, that was brutal and not surprising. Thats what is painful. The vikes are never good enough to be a legit contender but they are good enough to get your hopes up and fucking crush them in the most painful ways possible.

I appreciate a sports fan with a realistic take like this. Teddy Bridgewater doesn't exactly strike me as "Teddy Bridgewater, NFL Champion"

This was Paul Allen's call of the end of the game. Seemed tame compared to his other two famous agonizing calls.

Interesting call, thanks for the upload.

On a related note, I always get annoyed by those blaming the kicker/punter/special teams after these kinds of games. I didn't actually watch the game, and it looks like it was frigid on the field, but the Vikings had 3 field goals and 0 TDs? Yet the color commentator's comment after the kick is "the offense comes back....2 big plays...you can't get any closer!...", etc. Wow, 2 big plays, huh? Sounds like they should be moving on to the next round! Just score a couple TDs, put the game away early...that would be 2 big plays. If you're on the sideline praying for a special teams play to come through with under a minute left, you already didn't do enough to win the game.

absolutely.
Yep. They'll build around him and Washington will have a solid 2016 team.

Agree on Cousins, so who takes RG3? I'd imagine he wants to be in Texas.

I figure both Kapernick and RG III will end up in the state of Texas.
