This is easily going to the best Star Wars film

We have a universe that is being carefully crafted to make sure the original feel is maintained and the tone is right (almost to a fault). This will be no different.

You guys should read Tarkin.

Novel about Tarkin overseeing the construction of the Death Star and his back lifeline with the emperor and Vader and the development of that trinity.

Great book. Ties into this film too.

But how much of that (even the fault) is JJ Abrams and how much is Disney?

Have you read any of the other new canon tie-ins?

Yep. Lost stars is really good. Sort of a burgeoning love story that travels through the timeline of the films. Two imperial cadets and you see all the events in the films but through their eyes and from an imperial cadet and later officers POV

THen the guy gets disillusioned but the girl is still an imperial commander.

A bit teen fiction by super enjoyable reading things like hoth and the attack on the second darn star, from other eyes.

Disney knows how to make money.

They won't allow any of these to be shit.

What they are in danger of is oversaturation of the franchise.

This might be the truest thing anyone has ever said about anything at any time in the history of language.

Not even the internet could argue that.

I do have faith in the directors, and Kasden wrote the script. They are giving it every chance to succeed, at least

Odds on this movie showing solo winning the falcon from Lando and rescuing Chewie?

Can't they just CGI in a young Harrison Ford for this?

We're all going to see this and we'll all have issues with it. It'll be entertaining at best and no more.

I can't calculate the odds because it's mathematically impossible that those things are not in this movie.

Parsecs is a measurement of time. You can't use it for odds. :shake:

Unless your powerball odds are 1 in 43 hours.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
