Joey, I totally agree that reading LV describe the technical side of film and how it impacts people is interesting.

it was a compliment. I think people are more interesting when they take the time to think about where their values and opinions and tastes come from, and what factors outside of art itself impacts their perception and appreciation of it.

LV's distaste for avatar kind of surprises me.

Thanks, stip. Most of these jokers were kinda being dicks, so I appreciate your honest thoughts.

My wife actually did not see The Force Awakens. She's not interested (and I doubt she would like it).

During the last part of our discussion, I was going to mention one of the big disagreements between my wife and me, but Joey's final quote was too perfect not to end on. But that movie was Mad Max: Fury Road, which she loved.

Nice interview guys. Good vibe and relaxed. LV, I do wonder where you get the time to see all these films. And the dosh.

Joey, I had to look up what I wrote (Luke was a whiny bitch. Rey has more inner strength. I love that my daughter will grow up with that character.) but you nailed the sentiment.

Also, TFA spoiler
Spoiler: show
R2D2 woke when Rey was in close proximity. Explaining that gives away the next campfire Luke and Rey scene.
Bring on the next one.

re: your spoiler - dime pointed out that R2 could have awoke because the other part of the map that BB-8 had was close by, and that activated him.
