Joey, I had to look up what I wrote (Luke was a whiny bitch. Rey has more inner strength. I love that my daughter will grow up with that character.) but you nailed the sentiment.

Also, TFA spoiler
Spoiler: show
R2D2 woke when Rey was in close proximity. Explaining that gives away the next campfire Luke and Rey scene.
Bring on the next one.
re: your spoiler - dime pointed out that R2 could have awoke because the other part of the map that BB-8 had was close by, and that activated him.
DON'T BRING THAT SHIT IN HERE
Umm, your whole interview with joey was being hyped as the great reveal of what joey thought of TFA so...
I'm sorry I yelled at you
While the discussion was great (good job, guys), the hype for joey's thought's on TFA got too big and I was a little disappointed with that part.

It could never live up to the hype. Plus Joey needed some energy to really let swing.

I guess I could have argued with him a bit more. There were a lot of points in the interview where I could have pushed back a bit. But it didn't seem appropriate.

Joey didnt seem too excited about star wars.

Actually it was fun to hear Joey speak less heart on the sleeve and more technical about his viewpoints. different side of joey. For me - Movies are often about the feeling im left with. I dont often have rhyme or reason why I enjoy a film because there are so many different factors that can impact me emotionally. I may enjoy a film for the same thing that I hate in another movie.

Nice job folks. You pretentious fucks.

I do. But that's usually because I'm uncertain how to take what he's saying. So I decided to go for something passive aggressive that can be taken different ways. Also, he likes to reply with "sigh." Which really pisses me off for some reason.

Emotional response if the first thing that matters to me in a film. I'll forgive an awful lot it the emotional response is powerful.

And I was trying to downplay the Star Wars stuff because I knew it had gotten too big. The hype was a little silly and so I wanted to undercut it when the interview happened. Not sure if that was the right thing to do or not. Honestly, I was just having fun chatting with LV.

If I get to do another one of these, I hope we can get into it a little more. I don't to fight with him but I would like to push and shove a bit more only because it would be fun to challenge each other now that we have more of a foundation of trust.
