Perhaps this is my lack of astronaut training or insufficient lurking in the 'the universe is awesome' thread but space strikes me as one of the easiest environments to CG.

Yeah, that's got to just be a gimmick. Now we're getting back into Lucas territory. Who gives a shit about the story? I want to show off this cool thing I can do. I build the movie around that.

That came up in my FB feed. I watched it without sound for a bit and thought, "Hey, this is a pretty cool video." Then I turned on the sound and thought, "Nevermind, fuck this."
