Ah, nice. I saw PJ and the Broncos on back to back days in 2014 in Denver, it'd be cool if I could do the same again there!doug rr wrote:they have revamped that and now hold big concerts there..its a pretty nice venueGreen Habit wrote:Yep, finally found it. I guess they could do really easy and low flyovers during the national anthem. I also didn't know The Forum still existed, what are they going to do with that?doug rr wrote:it will literally be a couple miles east of LAX where the old hollywood park horse racing place used to be

The question is whether there are 24 owners that agree. I doubt it, especially since that committee was made up almost entirely of owners that I think would favor Carson.doug rr wrote:local news here says NFL committee has recommended charger/raiders in carson

Nine votes that I think will favor Inglewood no matter what: STL, DAL, DEN, NE, BAL, PHI, WAS, ARI, SEA (those last two will fear realignment)doug rr wrote:yeah, I'm not buying it..yetGreen Habit wrote:The question is whether there are 24 owners that agree. If Carson does get approved, I think you need to swap the Rams in to assure ARI and SEA that neither will be realigned.

Starting to look like Davis won't be back in Oakland either way. So the Raiders will either move to L.A. or S.A. Whether or not S.A. would be a permanent move or just used as a bargaining chip is another question.

Re: The NFL and Los Angeles
I could see Davis saying to SA, "Look, I'm going to move there, because the Coliseum is such a piece of shit, but understand that for now it's just on a temporary basis. I'll give you the first shot to build a stadium for me while I lounge in the Alamodome, but I'll be talking to other cities as well."turned2black wrote:Starting to look like Davis won't be back in Oakland either way. I feel very happy for you, but not so much for my Bay Area relatives who can't stand the Raiders, though. I still hope Oakland stays strong and they have to leave California altogether.doug rr wrote:raiders withdraw...thank you

So, I'd say you might just see the Rams for now, or no teams. I think the Chargers will be in L.A. eventually, but may have to stick it out in S.D. for a couple more years.

Re: The NFL and Los Angeles
The Rams should move back, the other two should stay where they are.
