Guys, give Disney a break. It'll be something original

Like "The First Order Strikes Back".

I think I'll be okay with literally any title except that one.

The empire strikes back is maybe the second stupidest title in the entire trilogy (in a series full of them) beyond attack of the clones. It might be the worst. But the movie is great so no one cares/notices.

Ya think? I really like the title, actually. It's menacing but also strangely poetic. I love the sound of the words, it has a really appealing cadence. Nothing clunky about it. And it's just blatantly accurate. And it has a comfortable nostalgia or reference point-ness. It feels like a proper Flash Gordon, space opera serial, title.

Plus The Empire Strikes First is probably the best Bad Religion album title.

I'll be disappointed if they don't call one of them "I have a bad feeling about this".

they're all extremely descriptive.

A New Hope, Return of the Jedi, and The Force Awakens are probably the three I like the best.

I like A New Hope a lot. I don't hate the other two but I don't really like them either. Especially The Force Awakens. I think it's weird that it hasn't gotten more shit. Especially given how much people shit on The Phantom Menace.

One of the guys on collider Jedi council mentioned this and I wish he hadn't.

His point was the death of Han didn't have anything like the clout it should have cos they didn't give Han and Kylo a moment earlier n the film.
I was thinking a perfect way to do it would be to have han seeing Kylo carrying Rey onto his ship, you do get a shot of Han seeing him. But had he called out Ben! At that moment, and cut to Kylo turning and stopping and looking at him but then just going on the ship and ignoring Han, it would have had a lot more powerful impact when their scene on the bridge comes.

It's not getting that shit cos it's a far better movie than phantom or the other two.

The people I'm seeing online who are complaining about it Arent Star Wars fans for the most part.

Sure. I guess. But TPM -- the title, I'm talking about -- got a LOT of shit when it firs came out. Before anyone saw the film.

And though it's appropriate, I'm not over the moon about The Force Awakens as a title either. It's fine. But clunky and ... I don't know ... it's just awkward to me.
