I'm trying to figure out how Daario could win here.

Both Brad Pitt and Edward Norton were obsessed with Radiohead's second two albums (The Bends and Ok Computer) and begged Fincher to use Radiohead for the film's soundtrack.

I'm pretty sure the Mountain will have my vote every round. He will also likely have my vote for the follow up 'best nickname' tournament.

He certainly does this round.

Yeah. The problem is Gregor's armor. How long can Daario dance around that greatsword before doing enough damage to slow him down?

Oberyn had a nice reach advantage with the spear, but an arakh does not afford Daario that benefit. His Myrish stiletto could actually be a big factor if he gets in close.

That's a big if with the Mountain wielding that greatsword.

The needle-like blade could easily penetrate most mail or find its way through gaps in a knight's plate armor, and was narrow enough to pass through the eye slits of the helmeted knight.

His hit on that horse in the eye was pretty impressive. Could he pull that off against Gregor?

Or if not in the eye, in his sword arm at the wrist or elbow?

Wasn't that just a TV show thing though?

The thing is, the Mountain is used to fighting other knights. Same style, same weapons, except he has every physical advantage. The first we see of him fighting someone with a looser, more eastern style of fighting, he kind of gets his ass whipped...

Stop trying to argue this into a real fight, Kaius. It's a one-sided match up. The Mountain wins by a landslide.

I'm not being facetious (sarcastic?) when I say that Daario is an interesting, or more difficult, matchup for Gregor than most of the field. Just my opinion of course.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
