Re: College Football
during last night's trophy ceremony, saban talked about "paying back" the fans and boosters for all the support they've given him and the team this season, which just about assures that he's already planning on leaving.

Signing day is just like a week or so away... how are y'alls teams looking re: recruiting? I think Clemson is currently in the top 10 per ESPN, but not sure when all is said and done where they will rank. I'm guessing around the #7 ish mark.

With a coaching change everything is up in the air right now for Mizzou. Currently at 57th but I'm sure it will get better.darth_vedder wrote:Signing day is just like a week or so away... how are y'alls teams looking re: recruiting? I like college football as much as the next guy but Signing Day is one of the most over rated days on the sports calendar.

Aren't most of the big names decided in the week or two (at the latest) before Signing Day nowadays? It does just seem ceremonial at this point.Biff Pocoroba wrote:I like college football as much as the next guy but Signing Day is one of the most over rated days on the sports calendar.

Re: College Football
I get that, but I have no personal connection to these kids at the moment. I would rather start paying attention once they start playing. I'm not going to get too bent of shape about who commits, decommits, etc.jwfocker wrote:Massively important to the future of your favorite team. Huge deal.Monkey_Driven wrote:Completely agree.
