You could just as easily be talking about the Heat right now.

Nobody looks like they can challenge lebron in the east. Just a bunch of average teams from 2 to 8.

I don't know what the deal is with spurs court but there are always screaming fans during the game. It's like Marv and Webber are sitting right next to some drunk woman screaming TIMMMMMMMMMY!

I don't know, it seems like he's very close. He's clearly the best defender. I mean, it's not even close on that end of the floor.

Knowing that the Wizards aren't going to do anything, I'll be pulling for the Spurs in the playoffs this year as I hate the Warriors and I don't want Cleveland to win either

I'm aruing with my homer Bulls fans who are now declaring that Jimmy G Buckets is the greatest SG of all time. Where would RM rank him. I would probably put Harden Thompson and Butler as the best 3 SG's in that order. Does Kawhi start at SG or SF? Because hes better than all three.

Also, the Spurs are officially halfway through their schedule and are 35-6. I believe 4/5 will confirm that I sent him a PM a few months ago and predicted they would end the year 70-12.

Will they finish ahead of the warriors? I'm really hoping DUUUUB NATTIOOOON loses some steam after the all star break, plus they will have to actually play good teams eventually.

I'd go Butler, Thompson and Harden. Thompson and Butler are close. I'm a defense kinda guy and Harden's a fucking joke on that end of the floor nowadays.

The "really tall center" fad of the 90s sure was fun.

I don't think the Spurs will catch them. Pop will stick to his rest schedule and that'll cost them a few games. I suspect they'll lose 2 or 3 on their upcoming Rodeo Road Trip.

A 7-game series between them is a toss-up to me. The Spurs depth and defensive pressure could really challenge the Warriors. The Spurs wear teams out with that defense. Other teams work soooooo hard to get a decent shot, that when the 4th rolls around they are dead on their feet. They are tired of setting picks that don't get anyone free, tired of beating their man only to be met with help defense, tired passing lanes being cut off and tired of no freebie 3-pointers. It's a glorious thing to watch night in and night out. Add the ball movement and Kawhi's emergence on offense and they'll be tough to beat in a 7-game series. And if Aldridge shoots a decent percentage, it's lights out.

The Warriors will not get the looks they are accustomed to getting because the Spurs are so disciplined and their depth will mean they won't be run off the floor.
