Did anyone else read this? It's supposed to be "Journey to Star Wars The Force Awakens," but it barely ties any of the original trilogy to the new trilogy at all.

:shake:
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Is this book better than Fifty Shades of Grey? Probably.

Star Wars new canon books & timeline

Post by dimejinky99 »

this is kinda awesome.

Many of you are familiar with opening your Star Wars Books and seeing a timeline page at the front, showing the relative chronology of our books. Today we're proud to show you the new interactive online timeline that we just launched, which you can use to track and explore the ever growing timeline of Del Rey Star Wars titles.
The timeline, which you can find below, features an interactive guide, and clicking on an individual title allows you to preview it, as well as get links to your favorite booksellers to purchase it.
The timeline is of course a living entity, so we will be updating it as we announce new titles. For the moment - Empire's End, Catalyst, and Thrawn are not part of the timeline, but rest assured those are coming soon!
Check it out and let us know what you think!

Spell canon right. Your title makes it look like Star Wars has a new book about cannons.

Sorry that's my posting while walking thing.

There probably is a book or visual guide about cannons. They have visual guides for everything on these new films.

I wonder if the new Marvel series are all considered canon?

They are and all contributed and curated by the Lucasfilm story group.

The Poe series ties in most directly.

That was a different one actually. I can't remember where it's placed?

The Poe comic shows Leia sendin him off to find Lor San teka and the map to Luke, but I only read the first couple of issues. Not sure if it's a short serial or ongoing. It was my least favourite of the ones I'd read.

The Lando series was short and great and the Han series only is 2 issues old but also great so far.

Oh, ok. I haven't read that one.

The Lando series was really great. Probably my favorite miniseries so far.

The Solo series, I agree, is good, as well. So far, anyway.

Did you hear Lucas has been buying Star Wars comics and loving the Han ones particularly? He got in touch with the artist asking could he buy the original art for it. Thought that was cool.

You can read about it here. Lucas gets first option on all art. Didn't know that.

That's really cool. Although, I DO find it odd he wants to keep up with the comics since he sold the property.
