It's Star Wars though. Might be naive but I don't think it'll 'sell' much more than it would have cos it's Christmas. That said some US pals were saying the amount of tie ins were insane. Saw a lot of it here too. On yogurt and cheese strings for some reason. You'd get free trading cards in the pack. All a bit much.

It's not like the goal there is to sell more cheese sticks or yogurts or oranges or what have you--it's to saturate the market so everyone knows Star Wars is back. And, uh, it looks like it worked.

I actually think stretching it out should work in their favor. You can't be everywhere all the time and still be special, and the Star Wars brand has always benefitted from feeling special.

Being everywhere all the time just makes you McDonald's.

I'm coming around to that thinking too.
I was curious that theyd have oversaturation with pretty much only 6 months between films..
this solves that i guess.

How many habitable planets are in this galaxy? Because we've seen at least what, 20-30 different species of intelligence over the 7 Star Wars movies.
