I drank a lot of great beer in Portland. I was unable to find any Pliny the Elder, however. So that fucker is still a bit of a white whale for me.

2 out of 3 of the Bourbon County Coffee stouts and 3 out of 4 Barleywines I've had this year have been infected. I just opened another sour coffee that gushed. I'm not a happy camper.

I gave a couple of Trader Joe's IPAs a taste just on a lark. They were both fucking gross. Boatswain Double IPA was overly malty and waaaaaaay too sweet and Mission Street was basically undrinkable.
