That's so great. Some of my favorite childhood memories are playing games with my dad. We must have played hundreds of hours playing Goldeneye's multiplayer, RBI baseball, Tecmo Super Bowl, Tetris, and Tiger Woods.PHATJ wrote:Monkey_Driven wrote:I hope my Wii U can still work years from now when I am have kids.My kids are age 10, nine, and six. That's pretty cool man. My dad absolutely never played video games. He thought they were a massive waste of time. I wasn't even allowed to get my own system until I was 16.Monkey_Driven wrote:That's so great. Some of my favorite childhood memories are playing games with my dad. My six year old son also loves sports games. His birthday was in December and the #1 thing he wanted was Madden 16. We set up my Xbox 360 and got him the game. Now he plays on the All Madden level and can beat me already! He also plays the 2K basketball and baseball games, and the NHL game. We have a great time playing together. It's a great family activity.

It helped my dad grew upon with Pong, Atari, etc. He's in his early 50's.PHATJ wrote:That's pretty cool man. My dad absolutely never played video games. He thought they were a massive waste of time. Video games can really help kids learn a lot about sports; the rules, players, contracts, strategies, etc.

Re: Super Mario Maker
Totally agree. My dad is 61 now. When he was younger he played the PAC Man and Poll Position arcade games. I remember him playing those at a few local restaurants when I was a young kid. He just thought kids should be active and needed to play outside instead of being parked in front of a TV all day. I think it's pretty easy to find a healthy balance and have my kids do both!Monkey_Driven wrote:It helped my dad grew upon with Pong, Atari, etc. He's in his early 50's.PHATJ wrote:That's pretty cool man. By longer Chud means you should use every ounce of available space both above and below ground.

Re: Super Mario Maker
I just figured out how to lengthen a level, and I haven't done any above ground/below ground stuff. I think I have about 2 hours of time invested.

Spend some time with it. Expand the levels out. It is a lot of fun.B wrote:I just figured out how to lengthen a level, and I haven't done any above ground/below ground stuff. I think I have about 2 hours of time invested.

Hey man, I've got several levels that are just as much of a "work of art".cutuphalfdead wrote:a chud of ice and fire is a work of art and you cretins just can't see that

Skitch is just one vote, and I don't believe he's commented on my levels.PHATJ wrote:cutuphalfdead wrote:skitch aint throwin shade your wayPHATJ wrote:Hey man, I've got several levels that are just as much of a "work of art".cutuphalfdead wrote:a chud of ice and fire is a work of art and you cretins just can't see that
