will lend it complexity and relevance beyond simply being religion vs. atheism. To me, it's more about meaning vs. meaninglessness
Meaning vs meaninglessness doesn't seem like a discussion that has a lot of supporters on the one side.

It will at least look a bit better than Civil War's "here's a big fight in a gray airport tarmac" approach, maybe.

Two of those movies are exactly the kinds of movies that deserve that box office.

no doubt. but i like Snyder's visuals generally ( not MoS though), and don't really care that Marvel's movies generally look kinda plain.

I love these characters and I love this universe and the Civil War trailer didn't really excite me all that much - but that 'sorry tony, he's my friend/so was I' exchange is fantastic, and where you see the benefit of having 11 movies behind you.

Who was the writer?
Screenplay by

David S. Goyer
Chris Terrio

Story by

David S. Goyer
Zack Snyder

But I've heard that almost all of the Goyer stuff was punted in favor of Terrio.

I heard DC was revamping their comics line (again) to be in line with the cinematic universe. So they're essentially merchandise or licensed content for the movies now. Sounds dumb.
