I was listening to MBDTF tonight. That was the pinnacle. It must be a blessing and a curse to carry around the weight of such a moment of pure brilliancy.

I gave "Yeezus" another shot a couple weeks ago, around the time he released "Facts" and "Real Friends," and still didn't take to it -- it's just too ugly for me. Based on the stuff he's released so far, my expectations for the new album are modest but positive, though it does seem weird that he keeps changing up the details this close to release.

I feel about Yeezus similar to how verb feels about MBDTF, except I have no problem believing his new music will continue to be earth-shattering.

Yeezus was good. I'm hopeful the new record will be at least as good as Yeezus. Real Friends has really grown on me already.
