Minority Report
Temple of Doom
AI
War of the Worlds
Jurassic Park 2

There's five that I'd call bad. Just off the top of my head.
Temple of Doom is my favorite Spielberg movie, and I'd also rank The Lost World quite highly.

For me, the bad is:
The Adventures of Tintin
Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Lincoln
Schindler's List
A.I.

I haven't even seen Lincoln or Schindler's List or Tintin.

But I'd put Crystal Skull up there, too.

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

It's funny that Speilberg's wife is the worst part.
Is she though?

The point is, though, that Spielberg has an incredible filmography. Five poor films out the amount he's made is amazing. The guy has at least 12 stone-cold classics under his belt, and many of those are essential works of pop art.

Here's my full ranking at the moment:

Outstanding:
1. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
2. Close Encounters of the Third Kind
3. Jaws
4. Jurassic Park
5. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
6. The Lost World: Jurassic Park
7. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
8. Empire of the Sun
9. Saving Private Ryan
10. Amistad
11. Raiders of the Lost Ark
12. The Color Purple

Still Excellent:
13. Always
14. War Horse

Okay:
15. Hook

Poor:
16. Lincoln
17. A.I. Artificial Intelligence
18. Schindler's List

Terrible:
19. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
20. The Adventures of Tintin

Pending rewatch, but at the moment, I like all of these:
Duel
Catch Me If You Can
1941
Munich
Minority Report
War of the Worlds
The Terminal

It means that it's not a well crafted film. But it's still fun to watch in spite of its flaws. I can put on Temple and marvel at its badness and be entertained by its more entertaining moments. But that doesn't mean its a competent film. Its the very definition of that thing you don't believe in, actually.

That's absurd. It's an incredibly well-crafted film. You can fault the film for many subjective issues, but it's cinematic craftsmanship isn't one of them.
