it really is a shit place to hear music. being on the field is at least borderline mediocre but god forbid you end up in the shitty grandstand seven miles away turning your neck at an odd angle to see around a quickly deteriorating concrete pillar. then daughter comes on and you have to make your way to the 120 year old bathrooms with some guys piss splashing all over you in the trough.

I pretty much agree. But one benefit, at least for Boston, is the ability to play outside at a place actually in the city as opposed to a distant suburb.
And from some people's point of view, the ballparks' higher capacity is a benefit. They hold more people than "sheds" or arenas.
Yeah, more people can hear how much the sound sucks there.
Remember last time they played Wrigley you could listen to the show through that traffic street cam? Wonder if that'll happen again

I will legit be your designated uber driver if someone can sell me an extra Philly ticket. Pick you up early. Parking-lot. Drive you home. We can debate for hours about how underrated Riot Act is... It'll be clutch. Just go ask your former roomate if he's SURE he can definitely go, and when he says "no", hit me up!
I spent way too much time on Red Mosquito in 2003. If you were a daily poster during the riot act tour hit me up on I.G. @DaveShay__
Welp, looks like my MSG contact fell through. Turns out PJ kept 2/3rds of the ticket back from the house. So, Strat, I'm still down to meet up. But I probably won't be going to the show. Might try what I did last time and see if they have any single unsold tickets minutes before show.

I bet there will be a nice PJ fan who will have an extra at some point.
