I think this is telling about where we differ; social group dynamics are something I'm not particularly interested in. I prefer more introspective or existential themes. And when we're getting political, I'm more interested in stuff that cuts to the root of the issue.

No

You never really defined 'good' yourself in the interview. How do you define the word?

I'm not convinced there is such a thing as objectively "good." Personal ideology plays too heavily into interpretations and responses. We can reach a degree of faux-objectivity when debating individual elements, how they're executed, and whether they jell with other elements, but that doesn't always ultimately indicate quality in a larger sense.

This makes a good amount of sense to me, and I think I tend to lean toward this way of thinking. I just inferred some unspoken element of objectivity from your conversation with Stip. And that surprised me coming from you. But obviously, that was all on me.
