This sucks, cuz I would have voted for cold confession in at least two and probably three of these matches. But nothing beats Alive.

I wrote a few days ago how some of PJ's early songs have lost their luster and aura over the years for me (this was in the context of how Daughter hasn't lost that aura, somehow), and I really do think Alive doesn't excite me as it used to. I can clearly remember the first few times I heard it performed live, and if I'm listening to Ten in a quiet moment I can revisit what caught me about the song--and the band--in the first place. However, even though it might not be a top-tenner for me anymore, it still beats most things, even a cool little song like Cold Confession.

im one of those Jerks that is voting for what i like instead of what might be the overall "better" song and i voted for CC over alive because ive been listening to Alive for nearly 25 years and am bored with it
