I was watching this while my wife and the baby were napping; I had my hand on the "Stop" button the whole time, just in case one of them came to. It would just be too much work explaining why I'm watching puppet porn.
you shouldn't have to live in fear
These are the sacrifices that we make when we procreate, lenny.
i'm too bad*ss to have s*x with a woman and make a baby

i thought the first act was a bit too long and drawn out, but the second and third were riveting...deniro and walken were excellent, as expected

I finally watched The Sound of Music. It always looked really boring to me as a kid but I actually enjoyed, especially for a musical.

Mum used to put that on pretty much every New Year when I was growing up. Watched it recently when they were staying over Christmas - still holds up

It's good, Lenny. Don't let Jordan freak you out.

It's very poorly made. And all the ultramodern dialogue and humor really turned me off. It all kinda came off like a big joke, somewhat by design but somewhat inadvertently. The more I think about it, the more problematic a lot of its attitudes seem.

The one-liners were pretty cringey, and it's an extraordinarily flat movie, and it didn't quite explore the depth of the main character's isolation like I wanted it to... but it's a somewhat charming story about working together and problem-solving. I skew towards the LV side, but I didn't hate it.
