leaning towards wanting to believe him, is different then blindly defending him like some... and, after he was linked to the Miami thing, ive said plenty of times, it does not look good for him (especially if its true that MLB only found out about the Miami clinic and Bosch because of their investigation on Braun)

that being said... as others are saying here, the witch hunt, and all you getting all excited that Braun is finally gonna get his, well... not likely.

heres a question for Selig...
if you can suspend Braun/A-Rod and others for their association with Bosch... simply on HIS word that they paid him for things...

I get what you're saying, but the thing is when he was suspended for using steroids then it can be safely assumed that he was purchasing steroids. He was punished for his violation and they have now discovered where he (allegedly) was purchasing said steroids from. He's (potentially) getting punished on both sides unlike everybody else who has been suspended for steroids even though everybody who used must have purchased them as well. But this isn't a double jeopardy issue or anything else. MLB is a private organization and can choose to punish its members however they see fit within their legal rights. But I don't like it, and suspensions based off this guys testimony seems absurd to me but what do I know, I always side with rights of the accused.

I'm pretty convinced no one is being suspended and MLB is going to come out of this with egg on it's face again. Sure, players are using, sure they bought illegal supplements from this guy, but there's pretty much nothing they can do to prove it.

4-4, 2.33 ERA, 1CG, 57 hits in 58 innings, 17 runs 15 earned, 25/10 K to BB, with a .256 OBA

Advice: Wang has elected to opt out of his minor league deal and will sign on with the Blue Jays to start on Tuesday. The sinkerballer has posted a 2.33 ERA and 1.16 WHIP over nine starts at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Wang was bad for the Nationals last season but isn't a bad depth add.

PHOENIX -- When the Arizona Diamondbacks reached the 34th round of baseball's draft, they didn't pick for need or take a chance on potential.

Instead, they made a gesture to a player whose career was cut short.

Bypassing conventional wisdom in the draft, the Diamondbacks used the 1,020th overall pick of the draft on Arizona State's Cory Hahn, an outfielder who was partially paralyzed during a game in 2011.

"It was a very emotional selection for us to make," Diamondbacks president Derrick Hall said on Saturday. "When (scouting director) Ray Montgomery and his staff came up with the idea and presented it to me, it was a no-brainer."

Hahn was one of the nation's top prospects in 2010, when he was California's Mr. Baseball after leading Mater Dei High School to a state title.

He was drafted in the 26th round by San Diego that year, but likely would have gone much higher had he not announced plans to play at Arizona State.

Hahn's college career lasted three games.

Playing against New Mexico on Feb. 20, 2011, he suffered a spinal injury after sliding head-first on a steal attempt and colliding with Lobos second baseman Kyle Stiner's knee.

Hahn was taken off on a stretcher and had surgery later that night, but was paralyzed from the mid-chest down after fracturing his C-5 vertebrae. He's spent the past two years helping Arizona State's program as a student coach.

The Diamondbacks waited until the 34th round to pick Hahn because he wore No. 34 at ASU.

"It's not about us. It's really about Cory and his family," Hall said. "I was able to spend time with them right after the injury in his hospital room and he's a wonderful kid. We want to make this permanent. We don't want this to just be about the selection and him being a draft pick, but about him working in full-time employment with the Diamondbacks and hopefully we'll make that come to fruition for he and his family here soon."

Great read on Ubaldo Chris... I saw a break down earlier on Lincecum like that...
hes gotta be one of the most head scratching cases out there, go from a 3 time Cy Young, to, this? while maintaining a good strike out to walk rate? (hes still averaging a strike per-9 I believe?)

and, I take back the Scherzer / Ubaldo compairison, after watching the clips Ubaldo is more herky jerky before the pitch... when he seperates his ball hand from glove. Scherzer bothers me more on his violent follow through.
