I agree 100% yet I've found that I can look past the unsubtle aspects and can enjoy the recording.
I wish this had been a Xmas single as it would have been perceived differently and appreciated more it is.

Get Right would be a fun song for them to add back into their sets. But I doubt that will ever happen. I may go to the Pit and start a "Please play Get Right in Greenville" thread.
