So they just released the logo right? Is there going to be a new jersey release as well?

There will be, but I don't think anything is officially scheduled yet.

So Crosby is 2 points away from 900. He'll end up getting there in well under 700 games, that's really impressive.

It's too bad he missed so much time in the prime of his career. From 2010-11 to 2012-13, he had 159 points in 99 games. That's nuts.

Yeah, that was beautiful.
it was the stick handling that really made it stand out. I'm not sure how he found room to get between them.

getting between them was just bad defense. the incredible part of the goal was the coordination and hand eye skill to find the puck again, stop and deke out the goalie

Well played... part of me wants to reiterate that I'm perfectly happy with losses at this point, but a bigger part of me is never happy with a loss to the Sens, especially like that one.

I just signed on to come tell you. You cant feel good about this? I'm pretty psyched. Michalek is the only real loss.

Well this year and the next couple are essentially a write-off anyway, so, while I'll miss watching Phaneuf and think he was wildly under-appreciated during his time in Toronto, it was the right move, and it makes sense. By the time the Leafs are ready to really compete (which, even if things go perfectly, isn't likely to happen for at least three years or so) Phaneuf contract will be a hindrance. They got rid of him without having to retain anything, so that's nice.

It makes sense for the Sens, too, unfortunately.
