joey, P+P+Z looks pretty great. The Caesar movie just looks like another "bunch of Hollywood elite's getting together to do something goofy" type of movie.

joey, P+P+Z looks pretty great. The Caesar movie just looks like another "bunch of Hollywood elite's getting together to do something goofy" type of movie.
I think PPZ looks like it has some potential. But it could also be a total disaster. The Coens continue to impress. Even when they don't a home rum, they still manage a standing triple. They're my favorite filmmakers. I don't even care that Jonah Hill is in it! It looks really great.

I'm a little lukewarm on this too, mostly because they've been hitting it out of the park with their more serious works and this seems more wacky. But who knows, it could end up serving up some Barton Fink-style absurdity as well.

I totally get it. Most people elevate more serious works over comedic works. But some of my favorite Coen Brothers work has been comedic. There's no reason not to think this will be excellent.
