I don't think I know a single person who was into SW during high school that didn't adore the Thrawn books. I, myself, never read them, though.

Once again I'll recommend reading Tarkin by James Luceno. It's got tons of stuff supplementary to this film and Tarkin is also in the film. Great read.

Esp his whole realationship with Vader. He has a fair idea its skywalker who had fought beside years before by it goes unsaid and they have an interesting not friendship but trusting relationship. It's great.

I'm intrigued by the inclusion of Slave 1 in that article

They'll play a late game with this marketing campaign..it's still far too soon after the omnipresence of force Awakens..they'll start in summer i'm thinking.

Doesn't TFA come out on DVD in April? They'll probably release a Rogue 1 teaser then, and then a slightly longer trailer to attach to summer movies (maybe not early enough for Captain America). No full-length trailer or any promotion on TV until the fall, I don't think.

Still a huge mountain to climb for Disney to differentiate this from FA..

and to make people interested given they know the ending and the plans do get stolen.

Do you honestly think it's going to take a lot of work to make people interested in a SW movie?
