Two points:cutuphalfdead wrote:AL K leaders
1) Randy Johnson leading the SP Power Rankings through four games? Yup!
2) Dave Stieb is missing.

Guys, I'm going to make small clerical errors all the time on this. Point out anything you see and I'll fix it. It's real easy to copy someone into the wrong row.

I only noticed because Stieb wasn't particularly good last time around, so I was excited to see a good start out of him hahacutuphalfdead wrote:lol I jumped the gun and forgot to add the blue jays fourth game

oh, you're fine. Just making an observation, not at all complaining. Once we're 20 games in or so, OPS should normalize and give us a pretty good idea.cutuphalfdead wrote:After I'm done getting both leagues I'll make sure to update the sheet on dropbox so people can look at it and sort by whatever stat they want.@SkitchP wrote:How about that Randy Winn?!
My penchant for platoons is likely to keep a lot of guys off that list.
Changing how the individual team sheets are sorted will fuck everything up, but the leader sheets can be rearranged however.

Re: 2015 All-Time Franchise Tournament: DAY ONE RESULTS
My feeling is that since the pitcher's appearance was out of anyone's control (and as chud pointed out, it's a hassle to track), that it shouldn't affect his rest. The main reason for the rest rule is to avoid someone getting too big of a competitive advantage by just using the same pitcher all of the time, and I don't think a relief appearance really provides one (especially considering how rarely the simulator will do it).CopperTom wrote:I've been meaning to ask about this - Does a game like this impact Randy Johnson's "rest?" Or can he still pitch in his regular spot in the rotation?PHATJ wrote:Go Twins!cutuphalfdead wrote:Wait'll you guys see this Mariners/Twins game.
(I apologize if none of this makes sense).

I agree... it's a pretty rare occurrence and not really worth the hassle, which is also why it was so weird to see TWO starters come out of the pen in the same game.Lament wrote:My feeling is that since the pitcher's appearance was out of anyone's control (and as chud pointed out, it's a hassle to track), that it shouldn't affect his rest. Granted, I do have pretty small bullpens on both my teams.

Yeah with a larger sample I'll probably change which stat I sort by for screenshots.@SkitchP wrote:oh, you're fine. Just making an observation, not at all complaining. if it's more than one inning with a fraction it's =6+(2/3) for 6.2
not only will it calculate the ERA this way but since it's adding fractions they'll add up to whole numbers whereas a bunch of .3s would eventually fall further away from accuracy as they got added together

yeah that fixed it. it turns it into a bunch of 3s or 6s though. close enough.cutuphalfdead wrote:yeah =2/3 for thatspike wrote:ah, that's probably it. what should i enter for .2 innings? 2/3?cutuphalfdead wrote:yeah that would cause an error.E.H. Can you guys do me a favor and PM me the link to your sheet that you'll be updating? If you've already PMed it to me you don't need to do it again, but if you've simply posted it in this thread please PM it to me so it's easier for me to find each day.
