My vote too. While EV makes me cringe sometimes when he sings it live, the studio version is just tits.

LetMeSleep wrote:Lukin is a piece of manic shotgun fire. Hardly essential except those rare times you need a yell. On par with Habit.

All Or None has swampy atmosphere. It's got gravity. It's holding you down when you're trying, really trying to get anywhere be it off the couch to bed or down to the polling booth even though you know it's futile. You are Atreyu and Artax, unable to move and unable to act.

Really Joey, this is a hopeless situation.
Swayed.

All or None it is.

So, given the choice between a manic burst of energy and something that makes you feel mopey to the point of inaction, you choose the latter? That is the most emo/grunge thing I've ever heard. Your pain is self-chosen.

If what you got out of LMS's post is "mopey to the point of inaction" I think that says more about you than his post, my opinion or All or None.

Also, emo is a terrible expression. I've never liked and refuse to acknowledge it. Or as you would say, I reject that "label."

Joey recently said he wasn't swayed by advertising. Here I played a negative (his dislike of Habit) against a strong childhood memory (never ending story).

The result was correct though. All Or None is beautiful and has one of Mike's most tasteful solos.

I remember when I thought Lukin was a blistering punk number from my favorite band. Then I heard a lot more punk and garage rock over the years, and now Lukin sounds somewhat labored to me. Habit still rips, though.

Habit is a piece of shit. And the sooner you all start to realize that, the happier this world will be.
