Me too. Big Lebowski is my favorite and Oh Brother isn't far behind.

But this looks more like the Intolerable Cruelty/Lady Killers/Burn After Reading era, which is pretty bad IMO.

this wasn't bad, but lower-tier coens for sure...definitely some amusing moments, but a lot if was flat compared to their usual stuff

I'm a pretty big fan of all three of those films, actually.

i actually really like intolerable cruelty...ladykillers and burn after reading are definitely at the bottom of the coens barrel for me

outside of burn after reading and hail casear, they've had a really nice run since no country though

Really not sure what to make of this one, but I admittedly often feel that way after my first viewing of a Coen movie. Right now I feel like this is probably their worst.

i just couldn't get invested into most of the characters or plots...most of them just felt underdeveloped

the cast was fine and nothing was really wrong with the performances...they just didn't have much to work with

Burn After Reading is great, but it took me a second viewing to appreciate it.

Maybe. There are only a handful of Coens I haven't rewatched, and I think they all happen to be my least favorites of theirs. There's probably a reason for that.
