The Road Warrior action sequences are some of the greatest ever put on film. You're on crack rock if you think he can't shoot action. You've all become retarded on shaky cam and cg. I won't hear of this nonsense.

The chase scenes are beautifully lensed in the first three MM movies, but in terms of composition and structure, they are nothing special. He had an eye for framing and shot selection, but not always for putting them together in effective ways. But after Fury Road, I can't even say that much for him any more. Those action scenes were devoid of anything compelling.

He'd never do it, but I would love to see Spielberg make an F&F movie. He'd knock it out of the park.

Spielberg is just a wannabe JJ Abrams now, who is just a wannabe Spielberg. He's done.

The structure and composition in Road Warrior is incredibly special. Its the most special there is.

In less than two minutes in the opening scene of Road Warrior, Miller perfectly lays out everything you need to know, telling the story visually with no dialogue at all and creating a world that is now synonymous with the term "post apocalyptic". It's a masterpiece in action storytelling, and movie making in general.

The MM movies have a killer hook. It's a great concept. Miller had a lot of good ideas in conceptualizing the universe. I just wish someone else had actually directed the movies.
