I quite like the Wasted Reprise. My Father's Son has interesting music and a great bridge, but the lyrics are just too much for me.

I assume it is going to get clobbered, but I'm not kidding when I say acoustic #1 has become one of my favorite pearl jam songs. There's something both immediate and mysterious about it, despite the simplicity of the music. It's all Eddie's performance, and I think it is one of his best. He just envelops this song, hovering over it like a wounded guardian. It's warm, confused, hurt, distant, wistful, but somehow manages to convey this powerful intimacy and stubborn hope. It perfectly crystallizes all his strengths as a singer during his early years, without the music to distract you from how good he is. I don't even know what it's about, and never tried to decipher the lyrics. It's a song that's so good at making me feel that I don't care to know.

Until right now, I hadn't heard Acoustic #1, thanks for the link stip, I enjoyed that more than either of the other choices.

"My Father's Son" has its flaws but the other two barely register with me. Easy vote for "MFS."

I like Wasted Reprise quite a bit, actually. The Acoustic #1 thing is forgettable.

I voted for Acoustic #1. MFS is alright and Wasted Reprise is decent, but I really enjoy Acoustic #1.
