Only put in for night one at Fenway and got it, so I'm happy...six years between shows, no matter what I think of the last couple of albums, is too long!

Re: 2016 Tour Rumors
I got tickets through today's Red Sox season ticket holders pre-sale. Some info: The face for tickets is $65, $75, or $85, but they gouge you on fees for about $20 per ticket. Nothing on the field was available for Friday (I didn't look for Sunday). It seems like the Friday show is the big-demand night, and I would guess that the public on-sale will be a shit show.
If I didn't get tickets this way, my strategy would have been using craigslist, PJ fan forums, or ticket drops rather than locking in nosebleeds with the public on-sale.

I guess there was also a "friends" pre-sale (with a password) today, and some people at the Pit were able to pull field seats (In the C sections of the map below):Captain Termite wrote:I got tickets through today's Red Sox season ticket holders pre-sale. Re: 2016 Tour Rumors
Maybe because I was getting 4 tix or because I got unlucky in the "Virtual Waiting Room" I didn't get the field. But I got about 5 rows up from the 3rd base on-deck circle, so I am happy. I will be slightly elevated, so I might have a better view than section C field seats.Simple Torture wrote:I guess there was also a "friends" pre-sale (with a password) today, and some people at the Pit were able to pull field seats (In the C sections of the map below):Captain Termite wrote:I got tickets through today's Red Sox season ticket holders pre-sale. Tip for anyone not familiar with Fenway: seats in the "grandstand" are narrower than elsewhere. On the seating chart, those are the sections numbered 1 to 33 (from rightfield to left) and colored yellow and blue. The loge boxes (numbered 87-165) and the field boxes (closest to the field, numbered 1 to 86) have wider seats (and thus personal space when everyone is standing) and also easier access to the aisles/concessions/bathrooms. The smaller sections appearing behind the grandstands on the chart are actually on the roof and overhang the other sections, and I also would prefer them to the grandstands. But they are smaller areas, so if you want the big-crowd vibe/energy experience, you might not want the roof.

with fees, the presale tickets are more than the fanclub seats.Fuck You Jobu wrote:About $15 Wrigley field adds.Captain Termite wrote:I got tickets through today's Red Sox season ticket holders pre-sale. Not if you count the membership dues as a fee.BDB wrote:with fees, the presale tickets are more than the fanclub seats.Fuck You Jobu wrote:About $15 Wrigley field adds.Captain Termite wrote:I got tickets through today's Red Sox season ticket holders pre-sale. Similar to last year, I assume. It's not a PJ concert that's for sure.15showsandcounting wrote:Say what?CopperTom wrote:Hot Stove Cool Music - Pearl Jam, James Taylor - June 17 - Metro - Chicago

Re: 2016 Tour Rumors
if you're pulling this off twitter, it's a bit misleading. the first tweet mentions wrigley concerts this summer featuring pearl jam and james taylor. the second tweet mentions the june 17 benefit show with details to come.CopperTom wrote:Hot Stove Cool Music - Pearl Jam, James Taylor - June 17 - Metro - Chicago
