I debated too, but the '98 tour is what I've been wanting. I really want some vault Jack Irons shows from Australia, but also some full shows from the US leg.

I may just get the digital download for this. It's PJ at their best (or damn close to it).
I'll definitely get the download. Just can't bring myself around on the vinyl.

So in a nutshell, the first verse of PMPM and a tiny portion of the GS was cut.

i wonder how 10c would react if someone bought one, filled it with piss, and then returned it for a refund.

This is the show they took Daughter from for LO2L, yes?

Any one do a comparison on the mixing-audio shit?

I just woke up to see this.

I have to tell you, this is probably the most exciting Pearl Jam release in years for me.

Seriously, excellent work - even with the missing songs, which I presume are for technical reasons. After all, these shows weren't recorded with a view to eventual release like those from 2000 onwards were.

Its mentioned on the website in the description now that Ledbetter and PMPM are missing due to tape limitations. Whomever runs PJ radio posted on that forum that they probably used DAT back then and ran out of tape or got caught doing a tape flip and Ledbetter was missed.

Someone else may know better than me, but I'm doubtful they were recording 24 bit audio to DAT in 1998 - you may wish to bear that in mind when purchasing the HD-FLAC option.

I bought them regardless due to the slightly increased dynamic range that Brett seems to leave in the HD files, but that may not be worth it to some.
