When you select the game mode, you can specify which map you want to use. If you don't specify, it'll obviously just kick you onto the best host given your connection speed.
Do you guys ever have any connection issues? I had to quit one of my matches toward the end, which was super annoying, because I had been crushing it and lost all the points I had accrued. :gomez:

On maybe three occasions. And I'm in the mountains, with a speed of about 6mb/s.
But I will say that Star Wars is the ONLY game where I experience lag. Prolly due to the 40 players in any given match.

My housemate recently reacquired the Wii that she sold about six years ago when she was broke, and a couple of games with it. I've been playing Skyward Sword and am most of the way through it. I like the storyline for the most part, but I've been kind of frustrated with the repeated maps used for filler and the general shittiness of the WiiMotion Plus.

Agree about the maps. Seemed like they could have added a few more environments.

Some pretty good deals on the PSN right now. Battlefront for 23 and almost all of the 2015 EA sports titles for 20 and under. Picked up NHL for 19.

yep. XCom 2 is a ton of fun. Firaxis did a hell of a job with this sequel.

Weighing NHL vs FIFA. I'm not a hardcore fan of either sport, so career modes or that sort of thing aren't super interesting to me. Just want fun gameplay. Thoughts?

Still haven't had a chance to play the Witness. God damn bathroom remodel is monopolizing my time.

Insane bad? Or insane good? I read about the "emotional intelligence" aspect of the new FIFA games, sounds like it could either be really good or really dumb.

Loved FIFA this year, if I had to chose between the two I'd say FIFA.

True. I didn't communicate that very well. I hate it. Totally. Completely. Hate it.

Good to know. I'll skip this for now. Rocket League is the most fun I could have with a soccer ball anyway.

Watch Dogs is $6.59 this week on sale; worth it? I've always been interested in this one, but know it got middling reviews.

Have never played it, also curious. But my thought is that The Division comes out in about two weeks, and it looks like a very similar GUI with much better gameplay.
