I feel like I should have a Simpsonized version of my avatar in the spirit of this tournament.

Would everyone be okay if we started voting on first-round matches tomorrow (2 of them), say at noon, and made the cutoff for that midnight on Saturday? (36 hours)?

I think you should turn it into an entirely impossible to follow series of voting, losers brackets, and overlapping matches.

ST - with the holiday weekend low voter turnout is likely. How about putting all 4 matches up tomorrow and letting them run until like Wednesday?

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

Good call on the holiday weekend. I'll post the first set of matches this afternoon or maybe even tomorrow morning, and let it run for 3 days or so. Let the hype begin!
