leaked demos may statistically have no shot in this tourney

when 70% of potential voters do not have access to hearing the song

it's basically like attempting to get into a Diebold polling station in an african-american region of Ohio in 2004

10 Billion Years is the John Kerry of Pearl Jam

what could have been. what the nation could have known.

i voted for 10 Billion Years because know he'd be a better tournament champion than George W. Light Years

I love 10000000000 years, but Light Years holds a special place in my heart.

Indeed...the latter is one nice verse and a good chorus. The rest is mumbled gibberish and a bridge that got used far better in Light Years anyway.

which beats a pair of fairly clunky verses, an even clunkier chorus, and a great bridge pulled from the better song

I think the only time Light Years sounds clunky is if it gets sped up too much in live performances. The lyrics are some of Eddie's best, especially the chorus. I've always wished they fashioned a better song around Puzzles' chorus, which I agree is really good. The "you're never more beautiful than at the end of the day" is pretty affecting, but I think what surrounds it is pretty overrated.
