Wanna make a futures bet for the winner of Superbowl 51? Right now, unsurprisingly, the Pats, Panthers, and Seahawks are all listed at 10-1--so are the Steelers, which is a bit of a shock. Towards the bottoms of the list you can get five teams--the Bucs, Chargers, Jaguars, Raiders, and Titans--at 60-1. Oh, also: if you act now, you can get the Browns at 200-1 odds.

Kind of surprised to see the Bucs and Raiders lumped in with some of those other teams. Bucs and Raiders seem to be on the rise.

Lots of sketchy writing in this, but most of the facts (from official court docs) seem to be pretty solid.

Peyton Manning’s squeaky-clean image was built on lies, as detailed in explosive court documents showing ugly smear campaign against his alleged sex assault victim

This is likely going to be more than 50 words, but here goes:

In a court of law, I don't see enough evidence to hold Manning liable. But my gut feeling tells me he did it, and it should be a black mark on his life. But it's not an irredeemable black mark, and his acts since then have been far more commendable. If he did do it, he should apologize with honesty and ask for forgiveness. I'd likely give it to him. Of course, that's not likely to happen.

Except he and his father went out of their way to destroy this woman's career, yeah? A self-serving plea for forgiveness so that you can move on to your HOF golden years scam-free doesn't seem very just.

The civil suit was settled, so that's the "justice" part, no matter how you feel about it. As far as society goes, I guess we'll find out how it collectively judges.

I guess there is some increased talk of RG III going to the Rams. Not sure if it will happen but how epic would that be? I hate Snyder so much.

I understand the sentiment of this, but it's not like the Rams have been good since making the trade. Hell they haven't even finished above .500 while the Redskins have made the playoffs twice.
