Round 6: Big Wave vs. Satan's Bed vs. Given to Fly

Pearl Jam have been having fun for years..... Satan's Bed it is!

Anyway GTF is totally a rip off..... mind you it is an amazing song!

Satan's Bed has always been a personal favorite of mine since hearing it on No Fuckin' Messiah as Already in Love (still the better title). Such a perfect Stone riff, such an odd song with a joyous, kiss-off chorus. Needs more respect around here. Give it up people!

Given To Fly is a great song that I've tired of. The studio version is exhilarating, still provides tingles. I don't really need to hear it.

Big Wave however is adrenaline, pure energy. It gets better with age and it's been a fav for many a year. This pumping while driving by the ocean is a treat.

Satan's Bed has been a loved track for twenty odd years however I cannot forgive the band for not using Dave A for the studio version. I prefer the Atlanta version as I'm a Dave A tragic. His feel, his playing just sits perfectly with me. And Ed is fucking brilliant on both studio and Atlanta versions.

I was sure this would be Big Wave when I was listening to it 4 minutes ago. Satan's Bed is so, so good though. This is the closest one for me so far this tourney. I may go back on this but I'm throwing Big Wave a big, big wave.

All good songs, but Given to Fly takes this (fairly) easily.

I could be persuaded to go with Big Wave though, great tune and a real PRAMG standout.
