While I recognize that In My Tree is the better song, I'd rather listen to Got Some right now. In My Tree was always good for me, but never a great.

This does not approach being a contest. Getaway and Got Some both have their attributes, but they're minor in comparison to what In My Tree does. It's one of those songs, along with Evolution, Can't Keep or Sleight of Hand, that strikes on this fairly unique atmosphere and moment in PJ's catalog, and transcends the feel of a rock band playing a rock song. It's great stuff, though there's something to the studio version that's never been captured live.

Got Some and Getaway are 2 of the best songs from the last 2 albums, but IMT is just too fucking good.

I originally had it in the winners circle, but had no record of it. If it won it was year one and would have rotated out anyway. If we stick with this format I got shit gets replaced with this year's winner
