Somehow I was under the impression that "In My Tree" wasn't in the competition this year.

I originally had it in the winners circle, but had no record of it. If it won it was year one and would have rotated out anyway. If we stick with this format I got shit gets replaced with this year's winner

I voted for In My Tree but I am also in the camp that says its a bit overrated. I like several songs from No Code more. That being said, the Live at the Garden version is my favorite. I love it a lot, but Boom's solo is a bit annoying at times.

I like all 3 songs. When Backspacer came out I would keep playing Got Some while driving.... such a fun rocker! Getaway is also really good... but both these songs are nothing particularly new from PJ. In My Tree on the other hand showcases a different side of Pearl Jam and Jack Iron's really makes this song great!

You've got to admit, most people on RM LOVE this song.

As they rightly should.

But, all joking aside, I can understand someone considering the song overrated on RM. Obviously, I disagree, but I can understand the argument. I certainly don't think the song is overrated in the Pearl Jam community at large and it's absolutely 100% not overrated in the world of rock music.

But, around here? Sure. If you're not a big fan of the song, I can understand why you'd feel it's overrated on RM.

RM does tend to rally over certain eras / songs / drummers / etc...

Board favorites include: In My Tree, Red Mosquito, Man Of The Hour, Sleight of Hand, Rival, Last Exit, Hail Hail, Do The Evolution, Jeremy, Animal, Go, Tremor Christ, Cropduster, and Happy When I'm Crying.

I must admit, RM seems to have really good taste. Maybe we should rank the RM favorites? Whatcha say Ruddo?
