i think this is a great way to sell more season passes

"Given the expanded DLC plan, the price of the season pass will increase from the current $29.99 to $49.99 USD (£24.99 to £39.99 GBP; $49.95 to $79.95 AUD) on March 1, 2016. However, if you already purchased the season pass for $29.99, nothing changes - you still get everything at no additional cost— the full $60 offering of add-on content for the original price of $29.99. In addition, if you didn’t buy the season pass yet, there is still time: anyone who buys the Season Pass for $29.99 before March 1st will get all $60 worth of content. This is our way of saying thanks to all our loyal fans who have believed in us and supported us over the years."

Yeah it's definitely a smart move on their part. It will get a lot of people like me who were waiting on the announcement to pony up and buy it before it goes up.

Yeah i bought it too. It kills me that the price for games here in Canada is no longer on par with the US. The season pass is 39.99 here. Pretty much every new game is now 79.99 instead of 59.99 it was a year or two ago.

Damn man. That's a huge difference. That will make you very selective.

Indeed it does. I've been very selective lately.

This damn bathroom remodel has prevented me from playing much. Still haven't started The Witness because I want time to devote to it.

Anyone ever buy digital games from psngames.org? Their prices are super low, and they claim it's because they buy digital codes in bulk from different territories. Sounds sort of scammy, but I'm not sure.

Seems a little scammy to me. How low of prices do they offer?

Fallout 4 is $30. There's a page where they describe the activation process: upon purchase, you get an email with a PSN account attached. You log into the account from your PS4, activate your PS4 as the primary system for that account, then begin the download. Once the games starts downloading, you log back into your original PS4 account, and the game should be in your library. I'm skeptical, prolly won't do it until I hear firsthand that it works ok.

I'm pretty sure it's a hack that's borderline scammy. From what i can tell, they sell you a PSN account that has the game purchased on it (probably from some region where it was cheap, i guess) that you need to activate on your machine...not an actual game code that you plug into the store and download. Seems like it works, but IMO i wouldn't be willing to drop that kind of money -- even on a deep discount -- for something that Sony could decide shut down at any point because selling accounts is a breach of their terms of service.

I like your thinking on this, I will steer clear.

Anyone else play NHL16? I find the gameplay to be a lot more realistic in this year's edition.
