They just looked so fucking awful at the end of the season. The only reason I thought they even had a chance in the first round was that it was Toronto, their bitch over the last few years.elliseamos wrote:I did, until they lost game 5.numbers wrote:To be honest, I didnt expect them to get by the Leafs.elliseamos wrote:I just wanted to be clear you were trolling. Re: NHL Thread
I could care less who wins at this point, although seeing Toews hoist the cup is much more palatable than the seeing that mongoloid scream again.
I'm sure most of us can agree on one thing however... the cup truly belongs with the Original Six (unless of course you're wearing blue/white)!

the only people who care about the original 6 are those who are fans of those teams

Makes no sense to me. The last series will have no bearing on this one.pnjguy wrote:A LOT of pundits picking the Bruins.
If I had to bet money, I would pick Chicago. Good thing I don't, and I can just be a Boston homer prick.

this. i want the Bs to win, i honest believe they can, but i can see many scenarios in which the Hawks skate around with the cup.Self wrote:Makes no sense to me. The last series will have no bearing on this one.pnjguy wrote:A LOT of pundits picking the Bruins.

This series is the closest thing to even I may have ever seen, I wish everyone would stop picking the B's though.

I'm not sure its going to be that close, I still think 5 or 6 games. Either great defense or offensive finesse will win out.

Re: NHL Thread
I think coach has a point. We've seen the Bs defense sufficate a great offense. Also, we've seen the Blackhawks over come a strong defensive team.
I look at it like I did entering the penguins series: can the Bs O out perform the opposing D? I have to say Crawford is a bit of a wildcard to me, I don't know that he's as strong as his stats, whereas Tuuka has already won a series himself.
