Drop Da Bomb is a better joke than it was a song. This would have a better late round pick -3
We're sending our love down the well is a brilliant parody, but like We Are The World, not necessarily an enjoyable listen -3
In the Garden of Eden is a solid bit, but not a favorite -3
Union Strike Song is fantastic. Probably your best pick.-4
Max Power's Theme always makes me laugh. -4
Wannabe. I don't find this as funny as I should. The joke surrounding the song is great. -2

The Trag-ST match was very close. ST's team is pretty well balanced. I loved his "Mediocre Presidents" pick. But, based on the strength of Trag's 2-5 picks he takes this match by a nose. "Big Spender" might be one of my favorite picks in the whole tourney.

No offense at all Stip, but Sarge took that match quite easily for me. "In The Garden of Eden" and "Max Power" are standouts for me.

I'm voting for myself because I'm a selfish bastard. I'm going to have to talk myself through the other matchup.

I think the best way for me to compare Sarge's and stip's teams is to cut out the songs that I don't enjoy and then weight the songs that I think were good picks. Doing so, I'm left with:

Sarge - "We're Sending Our Love Down the Well," "In The Garden of Eden," and "Union Strike Song"
stip - "Talkin' Softball," "Lisa It's Your Birthday," and "The Amendment Song"

Some of the songs I cut I don't think are good, memorable, or funny at all--"Drop Da Bomb," Spider Pig, and Wannabe are examples of this--and others work, I guess, but just don't do it for me--like "Cut Every Corner" and "Canyonero."

Two songs that are leftover are ones that I wish I could've picked: "Talkin' Softball" and "In The Garden of Eden." Slight edge to stip, because the softball song was a perfect absurd capper to one of my favorite episodes. "We're Sending Our Love Down the Well" and "Lisa, It's Your Birthday" are two songs probably best remembered for their celebrity cameos, and--controversial bit here, maybe--in a tournament where picks are often made for their value as jokes or the way they make us produce a gut-busting laugh, I prefer the sweet gentleness of Michael Jackson's appearance than the attempted parody of Sting's. "Union Strike Song" is wonderful and gets the edge over the "Amendment Song," but stip's already out to an early lead, so he takes this one for me!

Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
