Hard to say right now. I think they are going to give the final say about non-Sony published games to other publishers but they won't force anything. I know Sony charges a fee to play their games online if you buy them used, but I don't know if that will continue. Lots of gray area right now.HardTI wrote:Do we know for sure that there are no fees or online passes required with the PS4 used games? I know EA dropped the online pass thing, but not sure if it's just up to the developer now.

I usually buy things on Amazon just to avoid sales tax.dkfan9 wrote:yeah, i can't find anything about it here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/ ... eId=468502Simple Torture wrote:I read that this policy has been discontinued.Mecca wrote:can't you get amazon to match the price?Simple Torture wrote:This doesn't just go for videogames, but I hate when I order something from Amazon and then the price drops the next day.

Ditto.
Got into Bioshock today; enjoying it so far, I love the story that's being put together in just the first five minutes. Had a tough time in the first Big Daddy fight, though (it felt cheap to keep respawning).

it's about to happen everywhere (as it should--hurts local biz and local govt and probably makes the sales tax more regressive than it already is)bada wrote:Amazon is gonna start charging tax in CT this November.

I think it is on a state by state basis. There were some rumblings that the federal government was considering changing the Internet Commerce laws to charge sales tax in all states but I haven't heard much about it for awhile now.dkfan9 wrote:it's about to happen everywhere (as it should--hurts local biz and local govt and probably makes the sales tax more regressive than it already is)bada wrote:Amazon is gonna start charging tax in CT this November.

Lots of cool looking games at E3 this week. All I'm thinking about though is The Last of Us. Comes out tomorrow.

I'm playing through all the metal gear games right now. Started with MGS1 and now I'm onto the HD collection, picking up with MGS2. Holy fuck I forgot how much of a pussy Raiden is. I can hardly even watch the cutscenes
