If anyone has any fenway seating questions, I can help.

I was able to grab two tix in section 159 last Friday, and judging by the seating viewer thing, they appear pretty good. It'll be interesting to see how my ADA fanclub seats compare when I pick them up.

If anyone is still looking for a hotel, Kayak has the Hilton Back Bay for $240/night (my Hilton diamond discount price is $380). It's less a 15 minute walk to Fenway from there.

Think I'm going to go to these as well. But on the ticket hunt again. Don't know if they have the ticket drop line for this like MSG but I don't think I can do 2 days of that again for 8 hours each....

I have no other preferences for places within walking distance of Fenway. Maybe jump on the T and do the Sunset Cantina.

There's a joke characters tell in Infinite Jest that goes something like: "She told me to 'kiss her where it smells.' So I took her to Allston."cutuphalfdead wrote:Fuck the Cantina. For those have been to a concert here... I read the sound is pretty awful but you are a little better up a level or so. That has me looking at the following sections: Outfield Grandstand 7/8/9 and Left Field Grand Stand 29/30ish. Any thoughts on these sections?

So... about the pre/post gaming... where's the preferred spot? Charlies Beer Garden? Sunset Tap?

Bukowski if you're looking for something funky, great beer list, and close to Fenway.b_i_revisited wrote:So... about the pre/post gaming... where's the preferred spot? Charlies Beer Garden? Sunset Tap?
Charlie's is a good call if you'd like to be outdoors.
Central Sq, Cambridge is a great neighborhood if you want to get away from the Jamily and find great beer not too far from the venue.

I'm staying in Back Bay so I can walk to Fenway and anything in the area sounds good to me. What about Saturday night? Anything that is low key but still a decent time?tragabigzanda wrote:Bukowski if you're looking for something funky, great beer list, and close to Fenway.b_i_revisited wrote:So... about the pre/post gaming... where's the preferred spot?
